Johnny playing his Story Flute
|
| Johnny is often found painting on the square in Dahlonega, where his paintings are usually sold before he finishes them. Dahlonega is the Cherokee word for Gold. A very lucky visitor to Dahlonega may find Johnny on the square playing enchantingly beautiful music on one of his original handcrafted flutes. He is always found wearing pieces of his silver, copper and beaded jewelry. Johnny makes a variety of original art and crafts. Although the items he makes use skills and ideas passed down in his family for countless generations, his designs are original and exhibit his ethnic heritage. |
